This is an exciting opportunity to join Trading Standards Scotland (TSS), the national team hosted by COSLA, as an Investigator tackling illegal trading practices across Scotland. You’ll lead investigations into offences under consumer protection legislation, including illegal money lending, counterfeit goods, and other misleading or unlawful trading activity referred through our national tasking process.
The post is fixed-term for 23 months, based in Thornliebank, and offers 36 hours per week under COSLA’s flexitime system. You’ll work closely with partner agencies, support victims, and contribute to national enforcement priorities. Travel across Scotland and occasionally the UK may be required.
