Salary – £27, 543 per year

Full-time permanent role, 35.75 hours a week

Location – Ainslie Park Leisure Centre

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join us as a Gym Supervisor at Ainslie Park Leisure Centre.

In our busy gym, you will be at the forefront of creating a positive and enjoyable environment for our members. Your leadership will play a crucial role in ensuring that the gym meets the highest standards and continually improves to exceed customer expectations.

You will be responsible for:

• Guiding your team to success, providing support, continuous development, and mentoring.
• Managing leave requests, sickness absences, performance, and participating in the recruitment, onboarding, and development of staff.
• Interacting with customers, resolving inquiries, and addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
• Reviewing and enhancing our gym timetable and services to meet performance targets, while continually seeking innovative ideas for the improvement of the gym experience.
• Ensuring all activities are delivered safely and in line with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• CIMSPA Personal trainer practitioner with exercise referral.
• A minimum of 3 years working in a gym or health club environment, with a proven track record of leading and developing a team.
• Exceptional listening skills and the ability to connect with a diverse customer base.
• Warm and welcoming personality topped with enthusiasm and a passion for fitness.
