EB001 - Personal Support Assistant

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and physically fit Personal Assistant to provide one-to-one support to an 8-year-old boy who is autistic and has ADHD.

The role involves providing constant supervision, personal care, support with routines and emotional regulation, as well as helping with communication and local activities. The successful applicant will need to be alert, energetic, patient and safety-focused, as the child may be a flight risk and requires someone who can respond quickly when needed.

Hours:

• Wednesday: 3/3.30pm – 6/6.30pm (3 hours)

• Friday: 3/3.30pm – 6/6.30pm (3 hours)

• Sunday: 10am – 2pm (4 hours)

✨ Some flexibility with hours is available. You will also work alongside another carer who supports the child’s sibling.

We are looking for someone who:

✔️ Has experience supporting autistic children

✔️ Understands ADHD and behavioural support

✔️ Is physically able to respond quickly when required

✔️ Is patient, calm and consistent

✔️ Can provide a high level of supervision and support
