Fife Coast and Countryside Trust (FCCT) are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic Operations team.

Location: Lynebank Hospital Halbeath Road, Dunfermline KY11 8JH

Salary: £24,890.91 - £27,087.17

Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed Term to 31st December 2026

About the role:

Fife Coast and Countryside Trust (FCCT) are looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative to predominately carry out ground and garden maintenance tasks on Multiple NHS sites (Fife wide) and other sites managed by FCCT.

About you:

We are looking for an adaptable and motivated individual to join our team. You will bring with you the following skills and experience:

  • At least 12 months experience of working in a general garden maintenance role
  • Experience in the use of gardening tools and small hand tools
  • Literate and numerate
  • Working knowledge of safe working practices
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of people
  • Able to work as part of a team and take instruction
  • Willingness to use and act upon own initiative
  • Adaptable and motivated team worker
  • Enthusiasm for the role and flexibility to meet changing needs
  • Able to carry out work of a repetitive nature
  • A solid understanding of the Trust and knowledge of Fife's countryside
  • Driving License
  • Flexible mindset
