We are looking for an Advocacy Worker to join an enthusiastic and busy team working towards providing quality support and services to Young Carers across Fife. This role involves supporting individuals to navigate complex systems and ensure their voices are heard in decisions that affect their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advocacy and support on issues such as housing, benefits, and care plans.
- Assist those we support in preparing for and participating in meetings with professionals and service providers.
- Help individuals understand their rights and options, empowering them to make informed decisions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
