This is an exciting and varied role that will give you a step into the world of forestry, where you’ll work alongside colleagues on the island on tasks such as undertaking surveys, vegetation management, maintenance of our recreational sites, litter picking, tree felling, enhancing environmental and archaeological sites.
To be successful, you’ll be an effective communicator with previous experience of working outdoors. An Industry standard certification in Chainsaws, Brushcutter and Pesticide application is advantageous although not essential.

Forest Craftspersons are required to drive as part of their role, if you have not yet attained a full UK manual drivers license this must be attained within 3 months of commencing employment in this role.
