Who we are and what we aim to achieve

The IBCA will work with people who were infected and affected by these issues, and when you join us, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and design an organisation that will make a difference to the lives of thousands of people throughout the UK.
Bring together financial expertise and empathy
As Compensation Support Manager, you’ll be a specialist claim manager with subject matter expertise. You’ll provide professional advice and act as an advocate. You’ll lead on end-to-end management of complex and sensitive claims. Day-to-day, you’ll use your advanced analytical, regulatory and financial skills to ensure that decisions are fair, accurate and compliant with statutory frameworks. When assessing complex or conflicting evidence, you’ll turn to your professional judgment and that of legal and clinical experts. This is a dynamic, high trust role requiring adaptability, precision and emotional resilience to handle sensitive information and interactions with compassion and professionalism.

You will have a high degree of emotional intelligence as well as superb analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to interpret complex information from a range of sources, exercising sound judgment to make decisions. Plus, experience in a regulated public or legal environment has given you an understanding of the importance of fairness and transparency.
