Job Title: Front of House Assistant

Salary: £23,000 - £27,413 (Band A) per annum

Working Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Contract: Permanent

Location: National Park Headquarters, Balloch

This is an exciting opportunity to join the National Park team, in a key administrative support role. You will be the first point of contact for all visitors and customers, so you’re always representing the organisation and will play a key role in providing consistent and up to date information and advice and responding to enquiries and feedback to key audiences and customers of the National Park Authority. Additionally, you will manage and deliver meeting room requirements for staff, partners and other third parties, and responsibility for the Room Hire & Bookings Policy and participate in a rotating schedule to securely close National Park Headquarters office.

This is a dynamic and varied role that requires strong organisational and time management skills to keep up with a fast-paced environment. You'll need a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and video conferencing platforms, along with the ability to multitask, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal skills are key, as you’ll be engaging with a range of people in a customer-focused setting. Your expertise in Microsoft packages and online channels will be invaluable, allowing you to navigate digital tools with confidence.
