Are you passionate about supporting young people who have experienced disadvantage to realise their potential? Can you work in school as part of a dedicated national team to support young people to get the very best from the education system? If so, this role may be for you.

At MCR, our driving force is simple – that young people who are in, or on the edges of the care system, will have the same educational outcomes, career opportunities and life chances as any other young person.

MCR young people tell their stories far better than us. Hear them in their own words in these short films of young people who have participated in the programme, reflecting on how mentoring has helped them create better futures for themselves:

MCR Pathways supports over 3,000 young people from across the country. We are recruiting a Mentor Services Coordinator for our Highland region of the country to manage and engage with our volunteer mentors at different stages of their journey.

The successful candidate will be joining our organisation at a time of exciting growth, where we are launching into new local authorities and developing our programme.

Reporting to our Mentor Services Manager, the successful candidate will have excellent relationship-building skills and communication skills together with administration experience. For this role, you’ll need to be highly organised, have exceptional desktop and database skills and a real attention to detail while multitasking within these areas of the business.

Closing Date: 3rd November 2021, 9AM

Interviews week commencing: 8th November 2021

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000
