Staff and Volunteer Awards

Every year, we hold an award ceremony for our staff and volunteers, celebrating their fantastic work and outstanding performance. Awards are also given for long service, recognising those who have worked with us for a number of years.

Free Blue Light Card

We provide each member of staff with the funds to purchase a Blue Light Card. This card provides discounts on the high street and online.

Cyclescheme

We are part of Cyclescheme, an employee benefit programme where staff can save between 25-39% on a bike and accessories. Staff pay nothing upfront, with payments taken tax efficiently from your salary. You must have been employed by Sense Scotland for one year to qualify.

Employee Assistance Programme

The programme is available to our staff, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It provides counselling support, health advice and personal legal advice whenever you need it.

Flexible working arrangements and family-friendly policies

Many of our roles are available on a part-time basis with flexible working hours, where possible.

Generous annual leave entitlement

On joining Sense Scotland, you’ll be entitled to 36 days’ annual leave, including public holidays (pro-rata for part time hours).
