We are seeking a detail-oriented Qualifications Development Executive to join our team.

In this role, you will manage all aspects of Share qualifications, both existing and new, ensuring they meet required standards for quality, consistency, and compliance. You will lead the development of new products from concept to implementation, while also supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of current qualifications.

Collaboration is key: you’ll work closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and awarding bodies, as well as directly support Share students, including Modern Apprentices, through qualification delivery, assessment, supervision, and progress monitoring.

This is a varied and hands-on role that also includes responsibility for data management and compliance. You will contribute to wider organisational goals by participating in network meetings and representing Share at conferences and events.

Main tasks of the role

The main tasks of the role include:

  • Lead and support the development, delivery, and review of both existing and new qualifications, ensuring alignment with SCQF principles and credit rating requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to continuously improve qualification design and learner outcomes.
  • Provide professional, timely responses to qualification-related queries.
  • Support learners, including Modern Apprentices, through assessment guidance, supervision, and progress monitoring.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of qualification development, including audit trails, data entry, proofreading, and cost tracking.
  • Oversee the use of Turnitin for assessment integrity and manage courses hosted on our Learning Management System (LMS), including on-demand learning content.
  • Design and deliver professional development training aligned with learner and sector needs.
  • Contribute to promotional content, including course brochures and marketing materials.
  • Organise and facilitate Share Networks, ensuring engaging and well-run events.
  • Write blogs and articles for newsletters and stakeholder communications, including Sharing Matters.

 The main responsibilities of the role

The main areas of responsibility of the role include:

Design and development of qualifications and professional development training courses

  • Design and develop relevant qualifications and professional development training courses tailored to individual sector needs.
  • Create complementary eLearning modules to enhance and support the delivery of face-to-face or virtual training sessions as part of the qualifications programme.
  • Work with stakeholders, tutors, verifiers and assessors to produce comprehensive course materials, including workbooks, slide decks, assignments and assessments.
  • Prepare all necessary approval documents for awarding organisations, including the review and updating of any existing documentation such as policies or procedures in line with legal or credit rating requirements.  

Organisation of professional development training courses

  • Work with the digital design team to produce qualifications brochures.
  • Liaise with assessors, verifiers, trainers and tutors to confirm availability, course content, and delivery requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with learners to ensure course needs and expectations are met.
  • Lead on programme inductions, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately and timeously completed.
  • Register students on to relevant awarding body system.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure sufficient lead times for effective course promotion.

Supporting learners throughout their qualification

  • Act as the main point of contact for learners across the Share qualification portfolio.
  • Support learners including modern apprentices to achieve their qualifications from initial induction through to completion within agreed timeframes.
  • Support learner participating in the Share on-demand learning platform, including demonstrating systems used as part of the learning.
  • Oversee Turnitin, ensuring that learners and tutors are using it as and when required.

Network and Relationship Building

  • Lead the promotion, delivery, and development of Share’s networks and conferences.
  • Actively engage in wider networking opportunities to raise Share’s profile and support business growth.
