Shetland Recreational Trust is a registered charity operating 8 leisure facilities throughout Shetland, providing opportunities and quality facilities to the islands’ entire population. We help people to stay active and reach new goals on a personal level.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic leader to motivate, encourage, and bring energy to the delivery of our strategic objectives and goals. Crucially, you will be excited about the opportunity to effect real and lasting change to the health and wellbeing of communities throughout Shetland.

Our CEO will be an exemplary relationship builder, adept at leading the Charity externally with a clear aspiration that the local communities and stakeholders continue to regard SRT positively. Our CEO must be able to balance being a visionary ambassador with the hands-on approach needed in a medium-sized organisation.

It is important that our CEO embodies our values and truly understands that our staff are at the heart of everything we do.
