Delivery Co-ordinator, Communities

£27,255 per annum (Ref: SUS2812)

12 month fixed term contract - 37.5 hours per week – based in Edinburgh

This exciting role will act as programme lead, managing a team that will develop and deliver a range of initiatives to support community organisations across Scotland. You will be working closely with internal and external partners to embed behaviour change delivery and best practice within Sustrans Places for Everyone grant funding programme and testing a community-led approach, helping to address transport poverty and tackle inequalities.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of delivering behaviour change projects using a community development approach. You will have worked with a range of partners and possess effective planning and project management skills. A good understanding and knowledge of community development theory and practice is required as is experience in managing teams. An excellent communicator, you have the ability to build effective relationships, enthuse and motivate others, work to deadlines using your own initiative and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.

Clearance by the appropriate Disclosure Scotland (PVG) scheme is mandatory for this role.
