Technician Electrician

Tayside Contracts is seeking to employ a mechanic at its Perth Workshop.

Salary: £30,154.74 - £32,489.17 Per Annum (Pay Award Pending)

The role involve the maintenance of a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant for Tayside Contracts and our other external customers. You will have served a recognised and relevant apprenticeship and hold a relevant City & Guilds 381, parts 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent SVQ qualification.

The Early Shift is Monday -Thursday 6.00am -2.00pm AND Friday 6.00am -1.30pm The Late Shift is Monday - Thursday 1.30pm -10.00pm AND Friday 1.30pm -5.30pm We have a fantastic range of benefits :- • Tool allowance - £15.75 per week. • Standby Payment - £142.59 per week when on standby (it is a contractual requirement that chargehand mechanics and mechanics participate on a stand-by rota). • Access to a local government, career average pension scheme which provides life and ill-health cover (15.7% contribution by Tayside Contracts). • 33 days annual leave including 5 fixed public holidays rising to 38 days after 5 years' service. • Long service days after 10 years (1 day), 20 years (3 days) and 30 years' service (5 days). • Cycle to Work Scheme. • Learning and Career Development Opportunities.
