Urras Achadh an Droighinn/The Auchindrain Trust

Urras Achadh an Droighinn/The Auchindrain Trust is an independent charity, financially supported by Historic Environment Scotland. The Trust exists to preserve, and to manage for public benefit as a museum and visitor attraction, the internationally-important historic site at Auchindrain in Mid Argyll. Auchindrain was the last economically-active, and is today the most complete survivor, of the thousands of small farming communities that were the target of the Highland Clearances.
