Registered Manager – Care at Home (South Ayrshire)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Care at Home service across the South Ayrshire area. This is a pivotal role for a compassionate, confident, and knowledgeable leader who is committed to delivering safe, person‑centred, high‑quality care.

About the Role

The Registered Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our care at home service, ensuring that care delivery meets the highest standards and aligns with the expectations of the Care Inspectorate and SSSC. You will provide strong leadership to staff, maintain robust compliance processes, and foster a culture where dignity, respect, and positive outcomes for individuals are at the forefront.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care at home service, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each of our clients, including those with Alzheimer's and dementia.
• Supervise and support staff in their roles, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
• Oversee medication administration processes to ensure compliance with health regulations and best practices.
• Conduct regular assessments of client needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and staff performance.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and external agencies to promote effective communication and collaboration.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and quality standards within the service.

Experience

• Proven experience in a management role within a care at home setting is essential.
• Strong background in senior care, including experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, with excellent supervisory skills.
• Experience in developing care plans that meet individual client needs is required.
