We are recruiting qualified Nurses to join our Custody Team, covering Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Applicants must be fully qualified and registered with the NMC and have a minimum of 1 year's recent nursing experience. Experience in patient assessment or Mental Health care is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Custody Nurse – Edinburgh

We are currently recruiting qualified Nurses to join our Custody Team covering Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Your core responsibilities will include providing care and triage to individuals in custody in Scottish courts. You will also be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based care in collaboration with service users and the multidisciplinary team.

This role offers a variety of different duties on a daily basis, as you will be providing healthcare to people of different age ranges and with different healthcare needs.

You must have the ability to treat individuals in custody with respect and dignity at all times and be able to work flexibly and collaboratively across professional boundaries, both within and external to the Health Care Team.

Experience of patient assessment and/or Mental Health care is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided to every candidate.

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified and registered with the NMC

• Minimum 1 year's recent nursing experience

• Driving Licence

• Ability to treat individuals in custody with respect and dignity at all times

• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively across professional boundaries
