Job Description

Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 4 - Flexi.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Environmental Health Officers to join the Food & Safety Team at Angus Council following recent retirements.

Angus offers a variety of interesting food safety work with large manufacturers, artisan producers, approved premises and a mix of small to medium sized businesses. The role will report to the Food & Safety Team Leader.

The successful candidates will need to be highly motivated, proactive, enthusiastic and be able to work effectively in a team.

Successful candidates seeking to relocate to Angus, which provides a variety of leisure options from coast to the glens and transport links to neighbouring cities, may be eligible for removal/relocation expenses.
