Argyll and Bute Council's ICT Department are seeking to recruit an IT Senior Engineer to undertake a specialist technical and key role within the IT Applications team to support the operation of existing large Council systems and to provide technical assistance in projects that require significant ICT expertise, such as in the introduction of new or replacement systems and technologies.   This is a full time post working 35 hours and can be based in either Helensburgh or Lochgilphead.

The Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual with relevant experience to join a dedicated and professional team engaged in supporting every aspect of the Council's business. The post holder will support the IT Officer to deliver high quality, efficient and effective ICT services to the Council and to fulfil the team’s service objectives and plans by working in partnership with colleagues, within and outwith the service.
