The Council is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to undertake a specialist technical and key role within the IT Applications team to support the operation of existing large Council systems and to provide technical assistance in projects that require significant ICT expertise, such as in the introduction of new or replacement systems and technologies.
The Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual with relevant experience to join a dedicated and professional team engaged in supporting every aspect of the Council's business. The post holder will support the IT Officer to deliver high quality, efficient and effective ICT services to the Council and to fulfil the team’s service objectives and plans by working in partnership with colleagues, within and outwith the service. This is a permanent hybrid post working 35 hours per week. Whilst the majority of this role can be carried out remotely, occasional team working in person is a requirement of the post so there is an expectation of periodic attendance in Lochgilphead or Helensburgh.
