Argyll and Bute Council are looking to recruit a full-time Senior IT Engineer to join our IT Server team. This is an exciting role based in Lochgilphead, working within a dynamic team with a strong focus on customer service.

You will be an IT professional engaged in the design, installation and support of server infrastructure supporting a large organisation. The Council’s operating environment consists of Microsoft and Linux servers located over our two datacentres.

The council has implemented Microsoft 365 and has invested in the use of Microsoft Skype for Business and Teams for unified communications. The council is seeking an individual who can use their experience and knowledge to enhance a professional team that are engaged in supporting the council’s business.
