Argyll and Bute Council are looking to recruit a temporary Senior Local Tax Assistant in the Corporate Debt Recovery Team based in Campbeltown. This is a full time post until the end of March 2025. The post is classed as remote, which means the successful post holder will be allocated a base within Argyll and Bute and will be expected to attend the office for a limited number of meetings and events during the duration of the post. For the majority of their working time, they will be able to choose to work from home or from their agreed office base.
To support the Revenues and Benefits team to provide a high quality service to users by ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided in the collection of arrears of Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates Sundry Debt and Housing Benefit for debts that have been passed to the Sheriff Officer and Legal Services
