Requirements

You will be CCAB Qualified Accountant or relevant accountancy qualification.

Responsibilities

The collection, maintenance and interpretation of information required for the development of economic and financial advice and analysis to be submitted to the Integration Joint Board (IJB), IJB Members and Officers of the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), Dundee City Council and NHS Tayside.

The Individual

​You will be supervising a team, you will be closely involved in providing financial support to managers as they continue to develop and enhance operational and strategic plans to meet the evolving needs of our population. The role also provides leadership support to the Partnership’s finance team with monthly and annual financial reporting, budget and annual accounts preparation and financial systems oversight making the role varied and an exciting learning opportunity. The successful candidate will work across NHS Tayside and Dundee City Council systems to provide management accounting services to local integrated health and social care services with a combined budget of around £280m. This post offers the opportunity to develop your career in a fast paced, complex and rewarding environment at the heart of Health and Social Care Integration. You should be fully qualified with strong analytical skills and staff management experience. A proactive approach, creative and the ability to manage change and to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential qualities.
