Job Description

Carry out a wide range of road maintenance duties and related driving activities incorporating winter gritting and work of an emergency nature that support the wider work programmes and operations undertaken by Ayrshire Roads Alliance, in order to achieve the Joint Committee’s key objectives; specifically in relation to both Council’s Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements and Best Value.

Requirements

The Individual

This is a permanent full time post based at Gauchalland Depot, Galston The post hours is 37 hours per week and the working hours hours of work are 8am - 4pm Monday - Thursday & 8am - 3.30pm Friday The Annual salary for the post is £27,436 - £28,725 East Ayrshire Council is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcomes applications from all members of the community.
