Job Description
The Performance, Planning & Research (PPR) team is looking for a PPR Officer to join the team here in Education Services and be to involved in key areas of work such as -
* Analysing complex datasets to support performance monitoring and statutory reporting a in Education Services.
* Developing and maintaining Business Intelligence dashboards using applications such as Power BI.
* The collection, submission and dissemination of information in relation to statutory returns to the Scottish Government.
* Supporting service planning through a range of analytical functions.
Ideally you will have worked in a performance, planning and research or MIS environment before as your core work will involve the extraction and analysis of data from MIS systems for the purposes of performance monitoring and reporting. As well as contributing to the development and enhancement of business intelligence and MIS systems . The PPR Officer will also lead on all aspects of research including carrying out fieldwork as well as advising external applicants on Education Services research procedures.

This post is fixed term for a period up to 12 months.
