Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £34,034 - £38,056 per annum

Job Purpose: To perform regulatory responsibilities related to licensing activities managed by the Environmental Health team.
This would include those licences covered by
- the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982
- miscellaneous licensing provisions such as the licensing of caravan sites, venison dealers, animal boarding establishments, zoos, cinemas, riding establishments, sports grounds, dangerous wild animals, pet selling, operating certain animal welfare establishments (including rehoming centres and animal sanctuaries)
- Houses in Multiple Occupation legislation
The post holder will provide information and guidance to the public and businesses, supervise the compliance by licence holders of licence conditions, provide mediation and undertake appropriate enforcement action as required.

Requirements
A valid driving licence and a commitment to regular travel across the Council area. Travel throughout Highland will be required.
