Job Purpose: To successfully engage with the public throughout the Highland Council area, promoting the Council’s recycling and waste services to increase the quantity and quality of material collected for recycling.
To provide practical advice to householders, businesses and pupils on responsible consumption options to help reduce their impact on the environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to assist in delivering substantial environmental benefits - helping the Council’s progress towards achieving its recycling commitments and net zero targets

Requirements
Previous experience in communicating and motivating a wide range of audiences including householders, community groups, businesses and children to bring about behavioural change.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service, possession of a clean driving licence is therefore required.
