This post is based in Loanhead Cafe, working 52 weeks of the year.

Assisting the Kitchen Catering Supervisor in the day to day operational requirements of the Cafe including the basic food preparation, serving of all foods, cleaning, and maintenance and checking of equipment.

KNOWLEDGE:

The knowledge for the post is acquired through either on or off the job training and experience.

Once in post the Jobholder is required to gain the elementary food hygiene certificate.

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.

Based on you working 5 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum salary for this position is £3,284.73 per annum.

Requirements
