An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead a team supporting systems and associated processes, working primarily with staff in Health and Social Care and Children’s Services.
Based in Fairfield House as part of the Business Applications Team within Corporate Resources, you will lead a team who will provide support for users of Mosaic (Social Care Case Management System) and Care Monitoring (Homecare).
You will work closely with staff in Health and Social Care and Children’s Services to develop and implement workflows and other system functions to support professional practice and operations.
You will lead or assist the implementation, operation and ongoing development of these systems/applications (please note that this does not include the support of digital hardware and infrastructure) and support any relevant projects.
This post may be suited to someone who has administrative experience supporting Health & Social Care services and can evidence a high level of digital/IT literacy.
KNOWLEDGE
EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Essential:
Jobholders must be educated to SVQ level 4 in a relevant subject such as HND Information Technology, Information Management, Business Information Systems, or evidence of equivalent competency to this level is an acceptable alternative.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:
The jobholder must be able to demonstrate substantial experience of the implementation, maintenance and development of applications/software, preferably in a public sector environment. Experience should indicate a high level of competency in analytical, communication and presentation skills. Experience of systems analysis and documenting working procedures is also required.
The jobholder must be able to produce and manipulate data for a variety of uses using various query and reporting tools and evidence developed interpersonal skills to agree and implement changes in procedures with an understanding of the relevant legislation associated with the retention of information.
Desirable:
Experience of the design and delivery of staff training.
Previous experience of staff supervision/management.

Based on 36 hours over 52 weeks per year, the minimum actual salary for this position is £43,468.03 per annum.
Requirements
Compliance with the mandatory Cabinet Office PSN (Public Sector Network) Code of Connection requires the Council to meet a baseline personal security standard.
