Job Advert
Duties include:
Cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a hygienic condition by vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning toilets and washing walls.
Undertake kitchen and dining room duties e.g. basic preparation of food, transport of trolleys to & from kitchen, measuring fridge temperatures, cleaning kitchen equipment and dishwashing.
Operating powered equipment including laundry equipment. Report any faults or malfunctions in equipment to Manager.
Washing ironing and folding clothes. Collecting dirty linen and putting away clean laundry in rooms

Basic reading is a requirement of the job to enable the Jobholder to read the instructions regarding the handling of chemicals and use of laundry equipment.
Knowledge is normally acquired through demonstration and familiarisation on the job.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are also an essential requirement for this post.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
