We have created a new role of Assistive Technology Co-ordinator to coordinate the evaluation, configuration and assessment of assistive technology support functions offered from Field Services, supporting NLC employees and extending advice into education, community and cultural environments.

Reporting to the Technical and Digital Services Manager, you will manage the Assistive Technology team, coordinate assistive technology implementation and maintenance programs, ensure training and support is provided to service users, identify accessibility solutions and lead policy development in this area.

You should have a degree/HND/SVQ4 or equivalent in a related field such as Occupational Therapy, HR or Equalities with extended experience in a similar role, particularly within Occupational Therapy, HR or Equalities. You should also have an understanding of adaptations and assistive technology that can support those living with physical, mental and neurological vulnerabilities.

The Assistive Technology team is based in Civic Square, Motherwell as part of the wider Technical Field Services’ team.
