NLC4 - £26,991 - £28,283 per year
Based at Strathclyde Country Park, you will be part of the Cemeteries team and will assist in the provision of a clerical and administrative support for the service.
As you would expect, the post will be both challenging and varied, and will deal with both sensitive and routine administrative tasks such as booking of interments, managing the memorial permits, dealing with enquiries, processing financial information, handling of cheques and postal orders, maintaining information systems and producing statistical information and reports. You will also assist in some of the initiatives and projects within the team.
You should be educated to a SVQ2 level or equivalent in a relevant subject such as office administration. You will have moderate office experience and an understanding of general office procedures in include filling and data handling systems.
It is desirable that you have a working knowledge of booking systems and of Microsoft Office packages and possess good administrative and organisational skills. With the ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative, you will also be able to work under pressure, solve problems and communicate sensitively and effectively.
Working Pattern – 35 Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Friday, 8:30am to 4:15pm

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
