Working as part of our Community Learning and Development (CLD) locality teams, you will be required to support our core functions of Youth Work. These posts will have a particular focus on working with young people in conflict with the law who require additional support to engage in community-based youth work activities and prevent re offending.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have an awareness of current national and local developments within relevant CLD disciplines. Successful candidates will have good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
You must have relevant qualifications at SCQF level 5 and above and previous experience of community-based work with young people or adults.
Appointments are available on a part-time basis, both during the day and in the evening. Successful candidates will be expected to work flexibly across the locality they are based in. The CLD Support Worker will be line managed by a CLD Worker within the locality team.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to starting this post.
