Help colleagues get more from digital
We’re looking for enthusiastic Digital Adoption Leads to help colleagues across the Council build digital confidence, embrace new ways of working and turn technology into practical service improvements.
What you’ll do
- Work with services to understand their needs, improve inefficient processes and champion better digital ways of working.
- Deliver practical learning, guidance and support for colleagues with different levels of digital experience.
- Help shape the Digital Early Adopters Group and support members to champion improvements in their services.
- Promote accessible, inclusive digital working alongside the Assistive Technology team.
- Explore emerging technology, advise on digital platforms and test Microsoft updates to improve the colleague experience.
- Use data, feedback and performance information to measure adoption, demonstrate progress and inform the Council’s digital direction.
What you’ll bring
You’ll have an HNC, SVQ3, apprenticeship or equivalent, with strong experience of communicating at different levels and working towards business objectives and service delivery requirements.
You don’t need to be a traditional technical specialist. You’ll bring enthusiasm for technology, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain digital tools clearly and provide advice, instruction and training to varied audiences.
You’ll be organised, manage your time effectively and work independently and collaboratively. An interest in emerging technology and the ability to travel throughout North Lanarkshire are essential.
Why join us?
Help colleagues gain the confidence, skills and support to use technology effectively. You’ll build relationships across Council services and make a practical difference to how we work and deliver services.
If you enjoy helping people, exploring better ways of working and turning technology into practical change, we’d like to hear from you.
This is a temporary position for 23 months.
