We’re looking for an inspiring Duty Supervisor to help lead the daily operation of our vibrant leisure facilities within Active & Creative Communities. As the face of our venue, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe, welcoming, and energetic environment for staff and customers alike. You’ll take responsibility for the smooth running of the building, ensuring high standards of customer care, supervising frontline teams, supporting health and safety compliance, overseeing cleanliness across all areas, and stepping into management responsibilities when required.
This is your chance to make a real impact—enhancing service quality, supporting staff development, managing operational delivery, and helping shape an outstanding experience for every visitor who walks through our doors.
We’re looking for someone with passion, confidence, and a strong customer‑focused approach—someone who thrives in a fast‑paced leisure environment and enjoys leading from the front. You should bring solid experience in leisure, fitness, or customer service, along with the ability to manage workloads, problem‑solve creatively, and communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and customers.
To succeed in this position, you should bring a combination of relevant qualifications, skills, and experience. This includes holding qualifications such as SVQ2, National or Higher Certificates. The role also includes conducting formal training assessments for lifeguards and first aiders, so you must either hold or be willing to work towards the required NPLQ, Pool Plant certification and Trainer Assessor qualifications.
Flexibility is essential, as the post involves early mornings, evenings, and weekend work in line with operational needs.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.
If you’re enthusiastic, community‑driven and ready to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
