We are currently recruiting Early Learning and Childcare Support Workers on a Casual basis. If successful you would be held on the Council’s Casual list and hours will be offered on an as and when required basis, across a range of nursery establishments, depending on service requirements.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.
All staff who work with children within Early Learning and Childcare in Scotland must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). You will be required to register at Support Worker level to carry out this role.
Staff currently working as a Support Worker within North Lanarkshire Council need not apply but should speak with their line manager if they wish to join the casual list.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
