An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join our busy Home Support Service. If successful in your application, you will manage, supervise, direct and lead a team of Home Support Schedulers to help us deliver outstanding customer care and quality service to the people of North Lanarkshire.

We are committed to innovative and new approaches to ways of working within the service. If successful, you will monitor and oversee the areas of scheduling and first point of contact within the Home Support Service. You will support the scheduling system and decisions in relation to the redeployment of Home Support Workers, monitoring service continuity to promote high quality service provision ensuring the needs and preferences of service users are respected. You will manage and effectively utilise resources, monitoring provision capacity and costs. You will provide extensive support, guidance, training and development to your team ensuring quality service delivery through continuous improvement for improved outcomes of staff and service users.

You must have the ability to create and design new performance information and produce analysed data for senior management to help improve service user outcomes. You will also monitor the workload activity levels including the use of telephony technology to maintain service level standards and customer quality care via telephone call monitoring.

Applicants must have excellent IT skills and the ability to audit and analyse data from all systems used for the purposes of service improvement.

To undertake this role effectively, you must be able to demonstrate excellent supervisory, communication, influencing and interpersonal skills. We are looking for organised and resourceful individuals with problem solving skills with a 'can do' approach, able to work well under pressure.

Experience working in a social work or home support related environment is essential. You must have possession of an HNC, SQV Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
