North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Team Lead – End User Computing (EUC) to help deliver secure, modern and efficient digital services.

As part of the Digital Infrastructure leadership team, you will lead the EUC function, ensuring resilient, user-focused services that support staff across office, field and hybrid working environments.

You will oversee key platforms such as device management, desktop operating systems, mobile device management, application delivery and endpoint security, ensuring services are modern, standardised and aligned with the Council’s digital ambitions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the design, implementation and support of EUC platforms, including Windows OS, Microsoft Intune and application deployment
  • Drive the move to modern, cloud-based and automated endpoint management
  • Work with internal teams, suppliers and partners to deliver integrated ICT services
  • Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert for EUC technologies
  • Support procurement, contract management and supplier engagement
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement of digital workplace services
  • Provide 3rd line escalation support and lead small to medium technology initiatives

You will hold an SVQ Level 4, HND, Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, have strong communication skills, with significant ICT infrastructure experience, particularly in End User Computing and enterprise technologies and Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Intune, Configuration Manager and Azure. You will also have experience in team leadership, project delivery and supplier management with the ability to lead change, improve services and influence stakeholders across the organisation

Work pattern:

35 hours per week - Monday - Thursday: 08:45 - 16:45 (including a 55 minute unpaid break)

Friday: 08:45 - 16:15 (including a 50 minute unpaid break)

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
