We are looking for a part-time Learning & Access Assistants to join our Museums & Collections team. The post is based Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life, Coatbridge but you will work with all the museums in North Lanarkshire Council as required.
We are seeking enthusiastic, creative and people focused Learning & Access Assistant to join our museum team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high quality learning and engagement experiences for visitors of all ages, while supporting the wider visitor experience in our museum service.
Working as part of a dynamic team, you will help ensure our museums are welcoming, safe, well-presented spaces that inspire curiosity and connection with our collections. You will support and deliver a varied programme of learning activities, workshops and engagement events for schools, families, community groups and other audiences.
To be successful in this role you will enjoy working with people and be committed to delivering memorable experiences for diverse audiences, that bring collections and stories to life. You will have experience of delivering learning activities or providing information in an educational, cultural, or community setting.
The successful candidate will become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups scheme PVG.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
