NLC’s housing stock represents one of the Council’s highest value assets and maintaining these homes to a high standard is essential for the authority to meet its statutory obligations and provide good quality homes in line with our council’s priorities. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our housing asset team.
The housing asset team plays a vital role in determining our investment needs for our stock with emphasis on meeting the Energy Efficiency Standards for Social Housing (EESSH) and other requirements such as ongoing Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) compliance.
Robust stock condition data forms the cornerstone of our annual Investment strategy and helps inform our decisions about future investment and viability of assets.
To support this role you will require
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 specifically Excel with experience in interpreting and analysing large areas of data.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- To be detail oriented and diligent with a strong entrepreneurial streak with the ability to create, design and implement internal IT processes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data accurately to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including other council services, tenants and home owners and external agencies such as the Scottish Government.
- Good knowledge of statutory housing indicators with particular emphasis on the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) and Energy Efficiency Standards for Social Housing (EESSH)
- Previous experience of supervising and managing performance of staff
- Educated to SVQ3 / HNC level in a relevant discipline and have extended experience, preferably in construction or an asset/data management environment.
Work pattern:
35 hours per week - Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm (including a 55 minute unpaid break)
Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm (including a 50 minute unpaid break);
