An exciting opportunity has become available within the award-winning Community Partnership Team to play a key role in the ongoing delivery of the Local Development Programme (LDP) and Play Area Development for a Project Development Officer (Temp) within the project delivery team.
The Postholder will be responsible for the effective and efficient provision of LDP and Play Area projects, ensuring the delivery of a high quality professional service that maximises the resources available, delivers positive outcomes and meets the needs of our customers and service users.
You will deliver a range of projects for communities from inception through to completion ensuring high quality, cost effective project delivery, acting as Procurement lead when required, completing procurement and tendering exercises to appoint contractors to deliver programmes of work, preparing and packaging a range of similar projects for design and build contracts.
You will be required to regularly engage with stakeholders and the wider Community Partnership Team in developing and taking forward the programme of work.
You will be educated to SVQ Level 4, HND or equivalent, in, Geography, Construction, Project management or another relevant subject and membership of an appropriate Chartered Institution or organisation is desirable.
Work Pattern:
17.5 hours per week
If working Monday to Thursday - 08.45 to16.45, if working Friday - 08.45 to 16.15
The post will be 23 months temporary (part time) from start date.
