Applications are invited for the above Resource Supervisor vacancies within our Children & Families Headquarters based in Civic Square, Motherwell

If successful in your application, you will work collaboratively within the Business Support & Operations team to provide an efficient and effective modern administrative support service within the locality and to our internal and external partners. You will ensure all business support processes are delivered in line with Council and Service standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery of Social Work services.

We are looking for applicants who have a flexible and proactive approach to changing workloads and can demonstrate they have the relevant skills, experience and qualities to work within a fast paced and changing work environment. As a good communicator, you should be able to use your own initiative to problem solve and have the confidence to manage, motivate and support staff undertake their jobs, ensuring delivery on deadlines and accuracy and quality of work.

You should be educated to National 5 level and be proficient in various IT systems including Microsoft Office. Possession of administrative qualifications would be advantageous.

A high level of confidentiality is essential, along with strong communication and organisational skills to thrive in a busy office setting.

Work pattern (Hybrid worker):

35 hours per week - Monday to Thursday - 08:45 to 16:45 - Friday - 08:45 to 16:15.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
