Senior Clerical Assistant

35 hours

NLC5 - £25,847 - £27,301

Applications are invited for the above Senior Clerical Assistant vacancy based within our Community Mental Health Team in Airdrie.

If successful in your application, you will undertake a varied range of administration tasks to ensure the team has efficient and effective support procedures and arrangements in place.

Good organisation and communication skills are essential, you should also be able to demonstrate that you have the confidence and experience to work independently, using your initiative or as part of a larger team. Previous experience using Microsoft Office software packages including Word, Excel and Outlook together with an awareness of the importance of handling confidential and sensitive information are also essential.

Moderate experience of working within a clerical / administrative environment with knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential while an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Administration, or equivalent, previous supervisory experience and knowledge of personnel policies and procedures are desirable.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
