We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our team based within Civic Centre, Motherwell to manage the effective delivery of housing investment and repair works, energy efficiency works (grant bids and operational programme delivery) and related projects across North Lanarkshire Council.

This will involve the management of a diverse improvement, repairs and property portfolio in a demanding customer led environment. Your role will include working with a wide client group of internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, Registered Social Landlords and home owners.

In this key role you will be responsible for managing internal budgets and external Scottish Government funding and be responsible for the supervision and performance of a range of technical and administrative staff across related disciplines, playing a lead role in business transformation and ensuring the service meets the council’s priority outcomes.

You should be educated to SVQ4/HND/Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline and have considerable relevant experience which should include development of housing initiatives, policies and procedures, preparation and management of budgets, experience of managing and reviewing performance to achieve agreed objectives, experience of managing employees and processes within a multi-disciplined setting and the ability to manage change.

Experience of project managing programmes of work and working with other services, agencies and partners is desirable.

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be required to participate in a rota to facilitate the out of hours’ response service during evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain a criminal conviction check through Disclosure Scotland.

Working Pattern

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:45am - 4:45pm (including a 55 minute unpaid break)
  • Friday: 8:45am - 4:15pm (including a 50 minute unpaid break)
