We are currently recruiting an inspirational and motivated leader to join our Adult Social Work management team, with the knowledge, skills and values to really change lives and help us drive forward our ambitious plans.

Our services are going through a period of significant change and this key post will lead and influence service improvements to help ensure we deliver the best possible service. As a powerful advocate for older adults living within North Lanarkshire, you will work collaboratively with our partners to transform services, driving forward change, promoting innovation, maintaining professional standards and ensuring accountable practice.

We are looking for confident social work practitioners who have the skills and knowledge to take on these roles and can demonstrate they are capable of making decisions for the service which supports our frameworks, standards and service objectives.

Possession of a professional or academic Social Work qualification and substantial experience within Social Work or other relevant discipline at a senior level is essential. Excellent leadership and management skills are also essential together with an awareness of both current and future social work direction.

You must be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role

Working Pattern:

Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm

Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm
