The Community Facilities Team is recruiting Sport Stewards to support the provision of a high standard of customer service to the local community.
The duties of the post include the provision of high‑quality customer care, the set‑up and removal of sports equipment, and the undertaking of general cleaning duties.
Hours of work will be arranged in line with service requirements, as determined by management.
The role requires regular evening and weekend working to meet booking demands, including attendance at major sporting events.
Applicants must demonstrate effective administrative, communication and customer care skills, together with the ability to work independently and use initiative. A flexible approach to working practices is essential, along with a supportive and considerate attitude towards Community Centre users. Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous, although it is not essential.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
