North Lanarkshire Council, as one of Scotland’s largest local authorities, has an ambitious plan to be at the forefront of digital first service delivery. We aim to provide staff, communities, customers and businesses with responsive and inclusive technology so that they can more effectively operate in an increasingly interconnected and digitally enabled world.

Based within the council’s Business and Digital function, we are looking for a dynamic, confident and highly motivated individual to support the Contracts and Finance team. In this role you will provide support for the procurement of hardware and software installations for council services. This will include the raising of service request tickets, offering advice and guidance, and preparing management information on the types and trends of service requests.

You must have knowledge of computer systems including experience of MS Office products as well as good organisational and communication skills.

You will prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines.

You should have relevant experience, preferably in technical support delivery. An SVQ3/HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.

You will be joining a dynamic and flexible team who currently operate a hybrid working model of home-working and office-based working at the Civic Centre offices in Motherwell.
