Assistant Facilities Manager (Soft FM)

Renfrewshire Council is looking to recruit enthusiastic and skilled leaders who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience to deliver a high quality, modern Soft Facilities Management Service in HSCP Premises, Schools, Nurseries and Office Buildings. You will manage all aspects of the Soft Facilities Management service within these premises.

You will have a track record of working and managing in a performance driven environment with supervisory experience. You should have experience of managing change and working with partners and have effective organisational and motivational skills. You must be committed to driving performance and improvement by using information as an asset and have an innovative and modern approach.

You must have a working knowledge of MS Office suite and other relevant IT systems and have effective written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to tailor communications depending on the audience and the ability to develop effective working relationships with managers, staff and other stakeholders. You should have the ability to work well on your own initiative and resolve conflict situations.

It is essential that you have a SVQ3 in Facilities Management or equivalent or are willing to work towards qualification.

It is desirable that you have a REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate and an IOSH Managing Safely Award.

A driving licence is essential for the role as is the ability to be flexible regarding working hours.
