Catering Assistant (Part Time) (Permanent)

You will assist the catering manager and other staff members in the preparation of raw foodstuffs and the keeping of food records.

 

Duties include the use of manual and electrical appliances, stocking of service areas, setting out and clearing away dining areas, cash handling, till operation and keeping the kitchen and dining room areas clean.

 

You must have awareness of hygiene practices and have the ability to prepare and service food and beverages.  In addition, you should be able to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues and have a friendly, outgoing, and flexible attitude. 

 

Literacy and numeracy skills are essential.

 

Previous catering/cooking experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

20hour Catering Assistant working between the hours of 1100-1500, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks.
