Compliance & Repairs Operative (Soft FM)

Renfrewshire Council is looking to recruit enthusiastic and skilled Compliance & Repairs Operatives who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience to provide support for the delivery of a high quality, modern Soft Facilities Management service in Council premises across Renfrewshire.

The successful candidates will have responsibility for compliance and maintenance repair tasks, ensuring effective delivery of all aspects of the Soft FM service. You will also have responsibility for reactive bio-hazard cleaning on client request. It is desirable that you have experience of carrying out minor repairs and maintenance of cleaning and catering equipment, have previous supervisory experience and are willing to undertake training.

You will have a flexible approach to working hours and have experience of working in a customer focused environment and be willing and enthusiastic to work as part of a team. It is desirable that you have previous Soft FM experience in a similar environment.

You must have literacy, numeracy and IT skills and it is desirable that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues.

It is essential that you have a current driving licence..

Location: Post will be based within a geographical area within Renfrewshire.

Hours: 35 hours per week over 5 days, Mon-Fri between the hours of 7am and 7pm as directed by the line manager (52-week basis)
